Sounds like the Yanks are going to pick up Kerry Wood as well. If so, I hope Woody helps you guys out. Still a fan of his from his Cubs days.

Not that I am a fan of the Yankees or A-Rod but figured to at least report this as a baseball fan: Alex Rodriguez hits 600th HR

I figured it would happen today when I was at work and not watching.

Sooo, in non steriod terms that was his 500th homer which still is not bad. Smile

600. He has hit 600.

With that kind of thinking, please remove 100 or more from fellow hr leaders Bonds and Sosa.

Plus, there were pitchers on roids that made hitting even harder, so the whole thing is tough to figure.

So Alex Rodriguez hit his 600th home run. I doubt any of you would know this name...but there used to be a baseball player named Babe Ruth. He played from 1914 to 1935 (Orioles, Red Sox, Yankees, Braves). When Ruth hit his 600th home run, he reached that plateau in 183 fewer games than it took Alex. No steroids, either---just a lot of liquor. Wink

A-Rod and the Babe could be equal to the amont of "broads".
